What an incredible night in Tweed for a softball game!
On Tuesday night, Todd Smith and Friends took on the Tweed First Responders in a friendly game of softball.
The Tweed Disaster Relief Committee set up an entertaining night with a BBQ and a 50/50 draw. All proceeds from the event went to the Tweed Disaster Relief Fund.
Todd was joined by MP Daryl Kramp and his Grandson Kai, MPP's Bill Walker, Norm Miller, Michael Harris, Randy Pettapiece, Rick Nicholls, Laurie Scott and Steve Clarke. IBC's Matt Hiraishi and Doug DiRabbi also joined the team, and donated $5,000 to the Tweed Disaster Relief Fund earlier this year. Other member's of the team included Tweed councilor Jim Flielier, CJBQ's Freddy Vette, Cool 100's Paul Ferguson, Terry Murphy, Boyd Sullivan, Justin Bray, Bob Stanley and members of the silver medal U-18 Fastball Championship team Ty Tebo, Ben Broek, and Nate Broek.
