I’m writing you today to discuss the revelations from last week at the Environmental Review Tribunal held in the town of Demorestville. Small Communities Fund in Hastings County
Thursday morning, MPP for Prince Edward - Hastings Todd Smith joined MP Daryl Kramp to announce funding to Small Communities in Hastings County. Both Stirling-Rawdon and Marmora and Lake received funds to help with local infrastructure projects that the Municipalities have brought to the attention of both the Provincial and Federal Government.
In Stirling - Rawdon, the Small Communities Fund will be used for the rehabilitation of Ridge Road and the installation of roadside safety devices. This construction will improve traffic flow and safety for both residents and visitors of the Stirling area.
In Marmora and Lake, this funding will be used for the construction of Crawford Drive Watermain and Sanitary Sewer Extension. This project will benefit more families to be hooked into the water main, as well as improve water pressure .Read more
